Setting up a full-stack Lotus Notes 8.5.1 development environment

Hi,

this is the start of a multi-part series about setting up everything you need, to get started developing Lotus Notes applications and plugins.

I hope this will be the end of the negative attitude towards notes plugin development. If IBM doesn’t produce easy instructions – or at least up-to-date information, i will ;-) .

What will you have at the end of this course ?

  • An Ubuntu Server 8.0.4 running Domino 8.5.1
  • A complete Eclipse & Expeditor-Toolkit installation with a sample Sidebar Plugin
  • Lotus Notes , Domino Designer & Administrator

I will try to post one part of this series every day, but if you can’t wait and understand german, you can already download the complete series as PDF-File:
